Dr. Rodney E. Rohde awarded ASCP Career Ambassador HonorNews about Dr. Rodney E. Rohde, CLS

At the recent American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) Annual Meeting in Boston, Dr. Rodney E. Rohde was awarded the ASCP Career Ambassador Honor. Career Ambassadors and Pathology Ambassadors are a volunteer network of laboratory professional, pathologist, and resident members that promote careers in the medical laboratory in their communities. Through hand-on activities and engaging presentations, Ambassadors help young people and others understand and appreciate the medical laboratory's role in patient care and inspire them to pursue a career in the medical laboratory and pathology while cultivating relationships in their community. For three decades, Dr. Rohde has been a passionate advocate for both the public health and medical laboratory profession at all levels - state, national and global!

"Each year, ASCP recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to pathology and laboratory medicine. Through a variety of awards, we celebrate leaders across the profession for their imagination, their tenacity, and their vision." - ASCP Past President, Melissa R. Upton, MD, FASCP, University of Washington Medical Center, Seattle, WA.
