Andrae L. Turner, FACHE earned his Bachelor of Healthcare Administration from Texas State University in 2007. The Andrae L. Turner Health Leadership Endowment was established by Mr. Turner, recognized in 2021 as a Young Alumni Rising Star of the University. He established this fund for student development activities at the discretion of the SOHA Director. 

Distributions from this endowment shall be used to award students development support to undergraduate and graduate student(s) attending/pursuing a degree in the School of Health Administration at Texas State University. 

As an alumnus, Mr. Turner has been an avid supporter of Texas State University. He is a former president of the Alumni Association Board of Directors, a former president, first vice president, and chief financial officer of the Alumni Association Executive Committee, a former member of the Young Alumni Task Force, and previously served on the Bobcat Club Leadership Council. Currently, he serves on the National Council of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity, the Board of Trustees of the Texas State Development Foundation, the Advisory Council of the Wittliff Collections, the Board of Directors of the Trotter Family YMCA, and the Young Professionals Council of Goodwill Houston.
