About CHP Advising
The College of Health Professions Academic Advising Center's regular office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
All Texas State students are provided an email address. Students are required to activate and regularly check the email account provided. Students should use their Texas State email address in all email communications with the College of Health Professions Academic Advising Center. Emails from other accounts will not be answered, due to confidentiality regulations.
The academic advisors in the College of Health Professions are: Sara Boysen, Leslie Aguirre, Heather Jaime Sherrill, Rebecca Lowery, Isabel Buchman, and Camela Gray. The center is located in Room 302 of Encino Hall. To schedule an advising appointment, call 512.245.3506. If you are on campus, you may schedule your appointment in person. We are unable to schedule appointments by email.

The College of Health Professions Academic Advising Center provides academic advising which supports undergraduate students seeking admission to a program offered in the College of Health Professions. The center also prepares degree audits for all undergraduate students in the College of Health Professions, and in coordination with the Dean’s Office, verifies graduation.
